Location of April 6, 2009 earthquake updated with all the available data
To locate the 01:32 UTC event, we collected all the seismometric data available until today. Data (P and S pickings) are from seismic stations of the Italian Seismic Network (INGV), MedNet, Regional Marche and Abruzzo seismic networks (INGV), and Accelerometric National Network (Dipartimento della Protezione Civile).
We used 31 stations within 50 km from the epicentre and the following velocity model, evaluated for the area.
